MEET STU HOLDEN

A former professional soccer player, a former USMNT midfielder and member of 2010 USA World Cup team, is a game and studio analyst for FOX Sports’ extensive soccer coverage.

He represented the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and scored the game winning goal vs. Japan. In the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup, he was selected to the Gold Cup All-Tournament Team. Holden played with top clubs in the Barclays Premier League, beginning with Sunderland in 2005.

Holden has worked on the network’s marquee soccer properties including Major League Soccer, U.S. Men’s National Team World Cup Qualifiers, and the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada. Holden has also contributed to the network’s coverage of European soccer including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and England’s FA Cup and co-hosts the Facebook Live show “The Rec League.”
